Suicide Prevention.
A stressed, exhausted GP encounters a suicidal man. An awkward exchange ensues.
A young actor I knew took his own life. I wanted to make a film about the taboo of suicide and the reality of attempting to change someone's mind. Often all we can do is interrupt someone's mind for a few minutes and buy them some time.
There are some dead pixels in the night sections towards the end- I was going to get them fixed and release this later this year but I've decided to upload the film as it is, for several reasons:
- This is a film about connection and sharing our struggles. Right now this is relevant to all of us across the world.
- Mental health problems and exhaustion are even higher amongst medical staff now because of the events of this year.
- It's also an eerie snapshot of the London we all used to know. One which will rebuild but will take time to recover.
